President and Chief Managed Care Officer

Before the founding of Nova, Moshe was the Corporate Director Of Managed Care for the largest and fastest-growing group of nursing facilities in the metropolitan area. Moshe was responsible for all aspects of HMO collections, managed existing and developed new relationships between the SNF’s and MMC & MLTC plans, securing contracts on behalf of the SNF’s, rate negotiations, and ensuring agreements were properly maintained and monitored, all while maintaining a positive cash flow.

Additionally, Moshe also understands the complex world of managed care from the perspective of an Owner/Administrator, because he used to be an administrator. He knows that in order to be successful, you must have a team that specializes in managed care and understands its complexities. Having to juggle the day-to-day operations, while attempting to fumble and guess your way through the managed care world, is a recipe for disaster. 

He soon realized that other healthcare facilities were drowning in managed care and they needed an expert to navigate this tumultuous business environment. In 2016, Moshe started Nova Healthcare Solutions, with the intent to offer managed care advisors, interim leaders, and partners to move providers forward in the managed care world, where they need to be. Since then, Moshe and his team have helped hundreds of healthcare facilities. Moshe heads up the Managed Care Department and Case Management. He is known for thinking outside the box, providing highly professional guidance, and sustainable results.

Vice President of Managed Care

Lee Sandel has nearly two decades of experience representing a variety of managed care providers and facilities ranging from physicians to large health care systems. She uses her extensive managed care experience to expertly guide clients through difficult and complex credentialing, contracting, and authorizations processes. 

With 100 percent of her efforts focusing on managed care & HMO contracting, she also specializes in change of ownership and government contracting. 

Ms. Sandel is able to draw on her past experience working in Managed Care Company’s and on National Contracting Teams, providing invaluable insider knowledge to her clients, ensuring that they are comfortable, informed, and on the same page throughout the entire process.

Director of Case Management

Traci Brasky brings almost 30 years of clinical experience from various healthcare settings. She has managed several large multidiscipline facilities, another role as the Chief Compliance Officer, and even twilights as a physician assistant when she's needed. 

At Nova, she is famously known for her extradentary ability to gain extremely difficult, out-of-network authorizations. She also excels with capturing high-cost medication carve-outs, DME carve-outs, and special Case Management projects. 

With Traci's vast medical knowledge and experience, she skillfully reviews clinical documentation providing integrated due diligence to ensure patients are appropriately admitted at the facility. She further ensures care plans are correctly captured by the payor and relayed to staff.
